Our Organic Rhassoul Cleansing Clay harnesses the remarkably effective yet gentle cleansing power of Moroccan lava clay. The unique properties of this mineral-rich clay leaves hair clean, touchably soft, beautifully full and gorgeously defined.
It removes grease and dirt from the skin, hair and scalp without damaging the hair structure or removing essential natural skin oils.
Its abundance in minerals such as iron, potassium, magnesium, silicon and other trace elements means it provides hair with a luxurious detox treatment, removing impurities and replacing them with nourishing mineral elements.
Your hair is left feeling clean, soft and moisturised. Curls are better defined and hair is wonderfully conditioned. Try it. You may never want a regular shampoo again.
“Words cannot describe how amazing this leaves my hair after washing. The softness! Oh. my. life. the softness! It’s just remarkable.
This totally revolutionised how I washed my hair and made me realise just how drying and damaging my other shampoos were! It was such a relief to be able to say ‘bye bye shrunken, matted mess and hello soft, shiny and fluffy fro’. – Harlem
Simply mix like a face mask. Add 125g of clay to 200ml of water. Let sit for 5 mins then stir for yoghurt-like consistency. Add more water or clay if needed.
Section damp hair and apply, roots first then cover with shower cap to prevent clay drying. Leave for 10-20 minutes. Rinse and enjoy your delightfully soft, clean hair.
Organic Rhassoul Clay, Organic Ylang Ylang Essential Oil and no synthetic additives…

I freakin love this stuff!
My barnet is one of the thickest and coarsest I’ve come across but this stuff leaves it clean, soft and just lovely. If it works for me, EVERYBODY needs it in their life, and they aint paying me to say this stuff either!
Thanks for such a great product!

Secretly would like to keep this a secret but that’d be selfish so I’m coming out. LOVE Love Harlem’s Organic Rhassoul Cleansing Clay. It *cleans*. None of this turning my fro into black cellophane business that shampoos too often do. Soon got the hang of finding the right yoghurt-like consistency for me, let it sit on my slightly wet ebonylocks and work its wonders. It’s all natural and I like the earthy smell… In brief, my hair is in love.

I’m seriously attracted to the design and packing of Love Harlem products!
I’m loving the Rhassoul Cleansing Clay at the moment. It’s a simple way to cleanse my hair with lovely results. My hair is very happy. The gritty earthy texture of the clay was a surprise, but also a refreshing change from the shampoos that are packed with synthesised fragrances and silkiness which ultimately have no health benefits for your hair. I would recommend anyone to try this. Fabulous!

I’d been hearing about rhassoul clay for time now – but it wasn’t until I bought Love Harlem’s that I could really appreciate the hype. Simply put – it’s the best thing I’ve ever used to clean my hair (shampoos usually strip my hair of any moisture). I was especially surprised by the fact that it really defined by curls, to the point I felt I could get away with a Wash and Go (and I have very tight coils, so to see them looking all lovely post-wash made me pretty happy). I mixed up less than half the pack to wash my hair, and put the remaining mixture in a plastic container, to be used for my next weekly wash – so I reckon the pack could last a month. But whatever the case, I’ll definitely be buying again for my hair’s sake!

I was quite hesitant to use the Rhassoul cleansing clay as I have locs and thought it would probably not wash out easily and just build up in my locs. I made a query to the Love Harlem team and they reassured me I could use it on my locs and even sent me a link to a youtube video of someone who uses rhassoul clay (Thanks!). I was pleasantly surprised how clean my locs were, and also how I didn’t need to use a conditioner afterwards. My locs are really soft! I would definitely recommend this for the loc’d folk out there.

I admit to being quite the cynic. I’d read all the reviews and was curious to try the clay for myself but I wasn’t expecting it to be all that. I mean, my hair texture is probably different to theirs. Just because it works well for them, doesn’t mean it will for me, right? Well, I was WRONG!
Still cautious after ordering the clay, I emailed the Love Harlem team with some questions before using it. Can I still pre-poo/detangle/deep condition etc? I received an answer quickly (thanks, Erica!) and it said that basically, the clay is so conditioning that I didn’t need to pre-poo or condition at all! Okaaaaay…. still cautious, I went ahead and tried it out.
To my surprise my 4b/4b hair was unbelievably soft after washing out the clay. Like, soft, as in how I’ve never felt it before. Also, the CURLS! Wow. I literally have never seen my natural hair curl the way it did after I washed out the clay. I was so amazed I took pics and sent to my Mum/uploaded on Instagram right away – ha!
Considering there is only 2-3 washes per bag, the clay is more expensive than regular shampoo. Not sure I could afford to use it all of the time however, I do know that using regular shampoo is never going to cut it for me ever again. True story.

This clay is absolutely heavenly, I must admit that I tend not to leave my natural hair out a lot as it is usually in braids. However, after washing my hair with this clay, I was left wondering if that was really my hair. It was soft, manageable and my curls were fantastically defined. Absolutely Love it.
